Hazelnut: calories, carbs, fats and other nutrients


Hazelnuts are rich in nutrients, its caloric content (about 700 kilocalories) is 2-3 times better than bread, 8 times better than milk and even chocolate. It contains up to 60% of oil consisting of glycerides of oleic, stearic and palmitic acids which prevent the growth of cholesterol in the blood, protect against vascular diseases, and are essential for a growing body. Hazelnuts are also high in protein (20%), contain vitamins B1, B2, C, E and minerals: potassium, iron, cobalt, phosphorus, calcium, zinc, ziamine, niacin and protein.
