Parsley

Depending on different growing conditions, parsley contains from 2 mg to 20 mg of carotene (provitamin A), B1 (thiamin), B2 (riboflavin), flavonoids, nicotinic acid. This greens are rich in vitamin K, which is involved in the synthesis of proteins necessary for normal blood clotting and metabolism in the muscle and connective tissues. To get the daily norm of vitamin K it is enough to eat about 10 grams of parsley.
