Persimmon: calories, carbs, fats and other nutrients

Those who want to lose extra pounds make persimmon the basis of diets, in which one and a half to two kilograms of fruit are eaten per day. In such programs persimmons are sometimes “diluted” with black bread and tea without sugar. However, nutritionists advise to exclude persimmon from active weight loss programs for obesity. A persimmon per 100 grams of product contains about 70 kcal (in some varieties this figure is at 120-130 kcal). Although this berry is not a record-breaker in calories among exotic fruits for our country (for example, a banana has about 90 calories, and a date has 280 calories), it contains a lot of sugar, due to which it is also removed from the diet in case of diabetes.
