Walnut
The high vitamin C content is especially noticeable in comparison with other vitamin-containing plant foods that are considered to be leaders in this indicator: unripe (green) walnuts have about 40-50 times more vitamin C than lemons, and 8-10 times more than blackcurrants. In terms of zinc content walnuts are among the top 10 plant foods high in this mineral. Among nuts, it is second only to pine nuts in this indicator.
