As a result of bad posture, muscle imbalances are created where the chest and shoulder muscles become extremely tight from the constant flexion and the muscles of your upper back weaken in turn.

How to Use

Wearing the Posture Medic

The Posture Medic can be incorporated in your everyday life, especially those activities that are notorious for poor posture, such as driving, sitting at your desk, or watching TV.


By using the Posture Medic as recommended you can begin to lengthen those tight muscles that contribute to poor posture. Watch the video and try these basic Posture Medic stretches. Stretches that are more challenging often highlight your tightest areas, which will require more attention to improve alignment.

To make the most progress, perform these stretches 3-4 times per day or as needed throughout the day. Hold each stretch for 5-15 seconds.


Use the Posture Medic to help strengthen the weaker muscles of your upper back that most often contribute to poor posture. Watch the video and try these basic Posture Medic exercises to help identify where your weaknesses may be.

Perform each exercise daily with the following schedule.

  • 1 set of 15 reps, 1 time per day for the first week
  • 2 sets of 15 reps, 2 times per day for the second week
  • 3 sets of 15 reps every other day by week 3 or 4


*To achieve maximum results, complete the stretches and strength exercises in addition to wearing the Posture Medic. Also, do not wear the Posture Medic for longer than 30 minutes at a time, and immediately remove if you experience any tingling in the arms, pain or pinching sensations.
